1st Day of {Pre}School

My little boys started Preschool back this last week! Landon is in the 3s class this year and Joshua is in the Tots class. They have done great - I sign them up for 5 days (because of my large discount with the church) but only take them 3 days. I do the 5 day for flexibility with my schedule. The boys go from 9-12 and love it. They were both pretty exhausted when they got home this week and both took 2 hour naps most days.

The Night before, backpacks are packed & ready!

The boys before heading to school!

Joshua - 19 months. So stinkin' cute with that huge backpack. He was excited - he loves going places and he is quite social. He only cried when I first dropped him off but I went back to check on him 5 minutes later and he was already dancing around to the music.

{Yes I'm the crazy Mom that takes pics of the bulletin board with my child's name on it!}

My little cutie pie!! - this is his first structured environment other than our daily home routine. It's good for him to learn structure and to follow someone else's instruction other than mine (or not follow & be redirected) :)

Ready to go, Mom!

Landon - my handsome 3 1/2 yr old!

SO excited for his first day! This is the first time for Landon that he went in with no tears! His teachers are wonderful and everyday when they come in, there's a chalkboard giving us instructions of what we are to do - take them to help them identify their name on their chair, put their backpack up, start coloring - on Fridays they get to do playdough.

SO glad for a great first week. It's a blessing to have a place they feel secure and safe and I get to be right down the hall - so that means lots of peaking in on them, watching them out my window as they walk to the playground with their class and picking them up & taking them home for lunch & naps and playing all afternoon at home! :)
